A two-dimensional hydrogen bonded organic framework self-assembled from a three-fold symmetric carbamate.
A flexible organic sheet spontaneously assembled under mild conditions from a tri-carbamate. By introducing cyclohexyl side chains as 'pillars' between the sheets, a hydrogen bonded organic framework was formed which displayed a capacity for accommodating and releasing guest molecules. The guest size/shape selectivity of the lamellar framework was demonstrated by testing with various guests.
متن کاملThree-fold rotational defects in two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides
As defects frequently govern the properties of crystalline solids, the precise microscopic knowledge of defect atomic structure is of fundamental importance. We report a new class of point defects in single-layer transition metal dichalcogenides that can be created through 60° rotations of metal-chalcogen bonds in the trigonal prismatic lattice, with the simplest among them being a three-fold s...
متن کاملKnowledge Management: A Three-Fold Framework
It is widely claimed by a number of business and academic gurus that in order for organizations to have a lasting competitive advantage they will have to be knowledge driven. If knowledge is viewed as a resource that is critical to an organization’s survival and success in the global market, then like any other resource it demands good management. However, the bulk of organizations still have n...
متن کاملA microporous six-fold interpenetrated hydrogen-bonded organic framework for highly selective separation of C2H4/C2H6.
A unique six-fold interpenetrated hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF) has been developed, for the first time, for highly selective separation of C2H4/C2H6 at room temperature and normal pressure.
متن کاملBeta-sheet recognition in the non-interpenetrated and interpenetrated two-dimensional coordination networks containing cavities.
Two types of secondary building units of CuI (Cu2I2 and Cu4I4) were shown to generate 2D-coordination networks of (4,4)-topology (non-interpenetrated and interpenetrated) with exo-bidentate ligands that contain diamide as spacer.
